Son of Péter Stoll, brother of Karl and Gisela Stoll. Trained by his father. Stoll made his debut in 1869 in Laibach as an actor and then came to as operetta tenor via Bozen (Bolzano), Preßburg and Olmütz (Olomouc) in 1872. Carl Theater. In 1873 he was brought to Graz by E.
