Emanuel Drop.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Raised in Amsterdam by Dutch and Taiwanese parents, Emanuel Drop is a violinist and a rising arts manager building an international career. He manages Mahler Foundation’s current projects, including The Mahler Podcast, the Digital Library, and the organization’s Community engagement program.

Emanuel was among 125 violinists selected to perform at the Royal Concertgebouw’s 125th anniversary celebration, and performed solo with an ensemble at the Holocaust Memorial opening in Amstelveen.

Before joining the Foundation in 2025, Emanuel worked as an artist manager, coordinating 48 performances across 16 countries within a year and negotiating record deals with major labels. In 2023, he assisted in producing the Concert for Brotherhood in Santiago de Chile, which drew over 5,000 attendees.

Emanuel led the development and realization of the new Mahler Foundation website in close coordination with developers and the team. Mid-2025, he began developing the Mahler Podcast, which is set to launch in 2026.

Emanuel speaks Dutch, English, and Mandarin fluently, and is learning Italian.
