The Mahler Foundation is thrilled to announce its support for the Mahler Competition Award, the esteemed celebration of classical music excellence, taking place in July in Bamberg.

As a testament to its commitment to the development of exceptional talent, the Mahler Competition awards prizes of great significance. The Mahler Foundation is delighted to lend its support to the Mahler Competition by introducing a special award for the Best Performance of the Contemporary Composition, Con Moto, specifically commissioned by Bamberg Symphony to Austrian composer Bernd Richard Deutsch. This exciting addition showcases the foundation’s commitment to fostering innovation and embracing the evolution of classical music.
