Mahler allegedly lived in the top floor.

Another source mentions Villa Kaley. On 02-12-1897 Justine (Ernestine) Rose-Mahler (1868-1938) wrote Frau Artmann, the mother of the owner of the villa, cancelling the booking for the summer of 1898 and requesting a return of the deposit of 50 florins. This still leaves open the possibility that Mahler changed his mind and rented Villa Artmann after all.
