The Exhibition Grounds (near Stromovka Park) were built for the Jubilee Exhibition of Year 1891. Festival concert hall (Koncertni sin).

Gustav Mahler conducted the openingconcert for the Jubilee Exhibition of the Prague Trade and Business Chamber of Year 1908 which was organised on the occasion of the 60th year anniversary of Franz Josef I, Emperor (1830-1916) (from 1848 until 1908).

The worldpremiere of Symphony No. 7 took place here, played by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra augmented by members of the Orchestra of the Neues Deutsches Theatre (State Opera) and conducted by Gustav Mahler (1860-1911). After conclusion of the 1908 Jubilee Exhibition the Concert Hall was demolished.
