1911. City of Bad Hall.

In 1880 Gustav Mahler spent the whole season as the spa concert and band master in Bad Hall. His responsibilities included placing the music on the conductor’s stand, dusting the piano, and during the break, pushing baby Mizzi Zwerenz’ around the theater in her pram. 

Mizzi Zwerenz (1876-1947) is the daughter of the theater director and was later active as operetta sopran. Hietzing cemetery, Vienna. Theater director was Karl Ludwig Zwerenz (1850-1925).
