Stefan Schüz is founder and managing partner of WWS Rechtsanwälte a law firm specialized in eceonomic and medical law. As a lawyer he is advising entrepreneurs. Investors and companies on corporate formation and daily operations.
He serves also as a member of the Supervisory Board in several companies. He was doing his studies in Germany, France, and Italy, is registered at Stuttgart Bar Association, and a Member of the German American Lawyers Association and the German-French Association of Lawyers.
His nonprofit service reflects his deep love for orchestral music, discovered at the age of 3 through Beethoven’s Eroica. Playing violin himself since the age of 6 and playing in orchestras since the age of 13 he continues to make music himself as well as employing his legal expertise and management skills also in the administration of various orchestras.
Since 2006 he is competition manager of the Mahler Competition of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and has followed closely the development of the all the participants ever since.
It is his aim in this function to provide all participants with the best conditions possible to enable and encourage them to go as deep as possible into the abysses and the truthfulness of music (in particular of the music of Gustav Mahler).
An aim which is achieved as the outstanding international reputation of both the participants and the competition prove. He takes the connections and friendships that have been build through that competition as an award to his work.
He is the father of two children, married to a flutist, and lives in Ulm, Germany.
