Married to: Ida Conrat (born 06-01-1857 Vienna, died 30-06-1938 Vienna, sculptress). See had Salon Hugo Conrat.

He had three daughters:

  1. Ilse Beatrix Amalia von Twardowski (Conrat) (1880-1942). Friend of Alma Mahler (1879-1964). Sculptress. She made the grave monument for Johannes Brahms (1833-1897).
  2. Felicia Dora Berta (Lily) Fränkel (Conrat) (1881).
  3. Erica Tietze-Conrat (1883-1958). Friend of Alma Mahler (1879-1964).
