Green-Wood Cemetery was founded in 1838 as a rural cemetery in Kings County, New York.
Located in Greenwood Heights, Brooklyn, the cemetery lies several blocks southwest of Prospect Park, between Park Slope, Windsor Terrace and Sunset Park.
