The main branch of the Protestant religion in Austria is known in German as the “Evangelische Kirche” and, in Austria, it is split into two sections, the Lutheran (the Augsburg Confession “Evangelische Kirche A.B.”) and the Reform (the Helvetic Confession “Evangelische Kirche H.B.”).
