The Fischlein Valley is a 4.5 km long side valley branching southwards from the Sextental into the Sextner Dolomites in the easternmost part of South Tyrol in Italy.

Year 1909. Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) in Fischlein Valley.
The valley is well-known for its scenic beauty and leads into the Nature Park Die Drei Zinnen, passing some peaks of the Sesto Sundial. Behind the Talschlusshütte (1,548 m), at the foot of the Einserkofel, it bifurcates into the Bachern and the Altensteintal, which runs up against the Die Drei Zinnen and the Paternkofel, which was fiercely contested in the First World War.
On the way to the Dreizinnenhütte on the Toblinger Riedel and to the Zsigmondyhütte in the Bachernal valley the Fischleintal is often traversed. The Fischlein Valley drains over the Fischleinbach, which flows into the Sextner brook in the Sextner district of Moos, a feeder of the river Drau.
