- Notes: The Secession 14th exhibition had Beethoven as its subject, and Max Klinger (1857-1920)‘s famous statue of the naked composer sitting in a chair was the main attraction. By invitation only. On the evening 14-04-1902, the day before the private view. Mahler and the musicians were standing on the staircase on the vestibule.
